Focus on LanguagesDespite an early decision to start a professional career in trade and commerce soon after finishing the commercial training and education I followed my great interest in languages and became a student at Cologne University of Applied Science in the faculty of languages for translators and interpreters.
Leaving university in 1983 as a qualified translator (Dipl.-Übersetzerin) for English and Spanish again life brought me back into the commercial world. This time however in a way combining all aspects of my talents: foreign languages and commerce in international sales and marketing in the world of colours.
Here I could deepen and extend the profound knowledge gained in theory by practical experience.
After more than 22 years of occupational career in the international trade of colour pigments with one of the leading suppliers I have been using my profound knowledge and experience as well as the passion for languages as a skilled translator for several projects since 2007.
Now, companies involved in business and industry as well as in the publishing sector belong to my regular customers.
